SANTA CLARA COUNTY – Three Santa Clara County Sheriff’s Office deputies have tested positive for COVID-19, the agency announced Monday.
One of the deputies is in stable condition at an area hospital and the others are self-quarantining at home, the sheriff’s office said in a news release.
The sheriff’s office said one deputy was assigned to the patrol division and the others to the custody bureau.
Two of the cases were confirmed Sunday and the other Monday, the sheriff’s office said.
“We want to assure the public that our office remains dedicated to serving and protecting the community during these trying times,” the sheriff’s office said in the release.
